Social Media Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly organised, creative, and proactive Social Media Manager to take full ownership of our brand’s online presence across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter/X, and more. This role is essential in building brand awareness, increasing engagement, managing influencer partnerships, and delivering a consistent brand voice and experience across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule monthly content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and seasonal objectives
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to ensure consistent and high-quality visual and written content
  • Write engaging and on-brand captions, hashtags, and post copy for each platform
  • Respond promptly to DMs, comments, and customer inquiries to drive engagement and maintain brand reputation
  • Identify and outreach to influencers and content creators for partnerships, negotiating deliverables and fees
  • Stay up-to-date with platform trends, viral content formats, and social media algorithm changes
  • Use scheduling tools like Meta Business Suite, Later, or Buffer to automate and manage publishing
  • Monitor performance of content and campaigns using analytics tools and prepare regular performance reports
  • Support growth initiatives through hashtag strategy, community interaction, and trend participation

Skills and Requirements:

  • 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience managing social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter/X
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills with a strong command of tone, grammar, and creativity
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy, content planning, and platform algorithms
  • Experience with scheduling platforms such as Meta Suite, Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite
  • Ability to multitask and manage several content streams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with influencer outreach and campaign management
  • A customer-first approach to community engagement and customer service
  • Previous experience in e-commerce or consumer brand marketing is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in content creation or basic graphic design (Canva or Adobe tools)
  • Familiarity with UGC (user-generated content) strategies and paid social campaigns
  • Proven success in growing brand pages or creating viral social content
  • Understanding of performance metrics such as engagement rate, reach, impressions, and click-through rate
